Colourfast currently operates 2 finishing lines out of a 25,000 square foot location. Its main focus is powder coating for manufacturers who cater to institutional furniture, airport seating, store fixtures, home decor, as well as commercial metal installations. Having one main production line, as well as a batch system, we have the ability to complete both long and short runs. The Main Line takes the bulk of the coating load, while the Batch is in place to handle short runs, prototypes, one offs, and specialty coatings such as custom and exotic motorcycle finishes. At Colourfast we have individuals on staff fully qualified and experienced to produce one of a kind pieces of work with airbrushing techniques and materials. In 2000, Colourfast reached a milestone and became the only local independent powder coating job shop with ISO Certification. A substantial investment was been made in maintaining a Quality System unequaled in the market place. We maintain that level of quality and service on a regular basis, and it remains our ultimate goal to lead the field in every aspect of powder coating. One of our Quality objects at Colourfast is to closely monitor and ensure all products are turned around within three working days. In order to accomplish this, Colourfast has had to make several very important commitments internally. We carry at any given time at least 600 different finishes and colours for a myriad of applications, and a rainbow of colours. Textured, satin, high gloss, metallics, hammertones, translucent, clear coats, tinted clear coats, and veined finishes to name but a few.
Colourfast continues to work closely with powder manufactures and related sources of supply to ensure the best suitable finish for each and every application. It selects from a pool of suppliers and picks only the best in the field. In fact, we will cross all borders to select the finest materials available worldwide.
